    First Light your fire

    • Chop everything and throw into liquid,wine, water,stock in the kotlich
    • Bring to the boil on a good fire, stirring regularly
    • Adjust the fire to a rolling boil, this will cook the potatoes and release the starch from them for thickening the gravy
    • Chris did not give times but I suspect about an hour should be enough
    • Taste for seasoning and serve
